Michael Bulino is a Commercial Line Account Executive who has had real-life experience to aid in his knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry. Graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering and a minor in Political Science, Mike started his career as a mining engineer with the Republic Steel Corp, Coal mining Division and later acquired his Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Underground Mine Foreman Certification. The next stage in his life left him as an owner and operator of an underground anthracite coal mine where he gained further knowledge beyond the production end. Always trying to understand every aspect of the operations, he even went on to obtain his commercial driver’s license so that he could conduct deliveries for his coal mining operations.
His experiences in life have provided Mike with an awareness of organizational fundamentals ranging from human resources to sales and have given him the ability to carry on a legitimate and understanding conversation with business owners. His experiences have provided him insight into hidden business liabilities and have granted him the patience to listen and offer recommendations that will gain the attention of his clients. With over 20 years of PA Insurance experience, it is his goal to maintain open and constant conversation with his clients, so he can continue to provide the best protection for them as their business grows. With growth comes new challenges and exposures which can lead to unanticipated financial loss; and he works to be the trusted adviser that will be aware of changes that may need to be addressed to prevent hardship.
When Mike isn’t appearing in movies such as “Something for Joey”, or operating a crane truck on the weekends, he can be found enjoying premium cigars with a top shelf bourbon. As a special asset to the agency, mike enjoys using his history of chorus and drama club by directing The Seltzer Agency entertainment committee and composing all the parody songs and dialog scripts for our company celebrations.
